Arul Siromoney
An LTCL in piano, Arul Sirmoney is the organist and choir director of St.Andrew's Kirk. A sought after accompanist by soloists and choirs in the city. He has played in a number of concerts in India and abroad. He is keenly involved in promoting church music among young musicians.
 
 
James Davids (Tony)
Tony as he is popularly known is the lead vocalist for the prestigious group called the"GATT" Quintet who have featured in the England, in N.Ireland, in USA, in Australia with the world voices in connection with the Sidney Olympics at the Sydney Opera House, in Bahrain  
 
Augustine Paul. M.A., L MusTCL.
Son of an illustrious church choir director of yesteryears, Augustine Paul has been singing in the church choir from the age of 10. He sings tenor in the Emmanuel Methodist Church Choir and conducts the Madras Musical Association Choir, perhaps the oldest choir in Chennai. He is the music director for Mellow Circle's noteworthy annual Christmas musical play. He founded the Octet Cantabile, a sought after singing ensemble of eight, and has performed in well over 200 concerts in and out of the country. The Octet has released six CDs of gospel music. He holds an LMusTCL, a diploma from Trinity College, London, and quit a bank job to take up music. He plays the piano, guitar and recorder and is adept at choral arrangement. He teaches theory of music, piano and singing.
 
 
Dr Prabhu G J Dorairaj
Started his music career as a boy soprano in the Adaikalanather Lutheran Church Choir, Purasawalkam, Chennai. Was the lead guitarist during his youth with "Vepery Youngsters Christian Club", later with the "Grace Lodge Orchestra", and was a member of the "Christhava Shishya Sangam" of TELC. He formed the "Lutheran Men's Voice" (LMV), in October 1975, which he has been directing since inception. He is also the conductor of the"Adaikalanather Lutheran Church Choir" for more than two decades and is the Director of "Cultural A cappella Singers" (CACS), after late Mr Robin Daniel. He was the Director of the "Madras Medical Mission Staff Choir" for four years, from November 1999 to December 2003.

Dr Prabhu G J Dorairaj, arranges most of the songs sung by LMV and Adaikalanather Church Choir. He has also composed many songs of his own, both in English and Tamil.
In March 2007 he was conferred the Doctor of Divinity by Patriarch Dr John Williams of the "International Institute of Church Management", Pennsylvania, USA, in recognition of his involvement in church activities mainly in singing.

Dr Prabhu G J Dorairaj was an Officer with the State Bank of India. While in service, he formed and directed the "SBI Christian Employees Choir".
 
 
Damayanthi Santwan
She started learning Music at the age of 9 and started performing on the Piano over AIR , first in the children's programme and later in the adult programmes. She has played at concerts both as a soloist and accompanist for many years. She was appointed organist of Egmore Wesley Church in the year 1950 by the Rev John Millns and held the position for many years. She has given an organ recital at the Birmingham Cathedral UK in 1979. She is the founder of the Choir "Shamas"
 
 
Sharada Schaffter

While in her teens Sharada Schaffter was organist in churches in Madurai and Kodaikanal. Subsequently she was appointed organist and choirmaster at Christ Church and Holy Trinity Church Chennai. She conducted the Vepery Male Voice Choir for a few years. She also conducted the Madras Philharmonic and Choral society for a few years. After the demise of its founder director Handel Manuel, Sharada now conducts the "Handel Manuel Chorus".

Sharada whose vocation was Mathematics, gave up teaching to become a social activist and volunteered to work for Women's development education Chennai. She has published a book on the subject of portrayal of in advertisements.

 

 
 
Emmanuel Ponraj
Emmanuel Ponraj has been conducting the Redeemer Church for the last 13 years. He has the distinction of building a very cohesive group of singers.

The quality of the choir is a par with any of the better choirs in Chennai. This has been possible because of his work on individual voices to bring about a fine tonal quality.
 
 
Ebi Abraham
Ebi Abraham had joined the CSI Cathedral Choir at Kottayam in Kerala, which was affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music, at the age of 8 years and was with the choir for over 20 years, the latter part of which as the Choir Master.  For the past 10 years he is the conductor for the Jerusalem Marthoma Church at Anna Nagar, Chennai
